it is this time of the year when Baguio Educational Athletic League (BEAL) usually holds the archery competition. the kiss i'm missing, at the moment is not my boyfriend's but that of the bow's string.
backtrack to a good four years (the last time i had an affair with a bow), i remembered the training days prior to the competition per se. in those training days, focus on one's form was more than essential. one's form can be the very source of an archer's problem. however, form varies from archer to another, like for me, i find it convenient to really come in contact with the bowstring, rather than just placing it millimeters above my lips. it helps my aim better as well as my release.
the reason why i'm missing archery and all the kissing that comes with it is that, i have not since held a bow over the last four years nor do i have a bow of my own which would have enabled me to at least train my bow and draw arm. the thing is, a bow is expensive and so are the arrows.
