the 2007 that is, until the 7th of february 2008

i simply cannot wait for the year 2007 to end. as it is in the Chinese calendar, the year of the pig does not end until the Chinese New Year which will be on the 7th of february. for people born under the year of the rat(like me), the year of the pig is not a good year for them. that, to me is an understatement!

the pig's year proved to be disastrous to the brink of me feigning sanity.

but in the pig's year, Salman Rushdie's statement in The Midnight's Children proved to be true for me. that line is, "Family: an overrated idea." if i could sum up the things which happened to my family, overrated would be putting it mildly and sarcastically.

anyhow, BYGONES. and i mean bygones.

i cannot wait to welcome the new year that is about to dawn upon us all on the 7th of february.
