i remember growing up in the province with the usual Christmas eve dinner with the family/clan and then going to the church together for the midnight mass and then coming home to some firecrackers lit by the boys in the family and then we all eat what was left of the Christmas dinner.
this year, i will not be able to do these things since i will be spending Christmas in Manila. i haven't the slightest where i'd be then, at my boyfriend's place in Laguna or at my sister's in Mandaluyong. hm.. choices,choices.
anyhow, nothing could compare to tonight because it will be the night before i leave for Manila. it feels like the night before Christmas because in both cases, i feel the excitement of having to anticipate something and i feel the euphoria of being in that moment.
the clock is ticking, i better finish packing my things (sadly, i have to bring my law books with me).
