this book has been in my bathroom bookshelf for a year. i'm down to the last 200 pages of its 787 pages.
i just am struck at one of the character's thought on the matter of speaking before the public - [S]he had memorized what [s]he was going to say, but suppose [s]he became an ignominious casualty of nerves? - this is what i don't want to happen to come friday this week, which is the elimination rounds for the moot court competition.
but i'm so interested to find out who among the characters in the book would be the MAN IN FULL. i only have four in mind: the sixty-minute man, a real estate developer who's drowning in indebtedness; the lawyer, Roger too White; Conrad turned escaped convict Hensley and Ray Peepgas wo just unleashed the red dog inside him.
i will have to wait until i get to the last page though. but therein lies the thrill :)
