a blessed new year to everyone

there is certainly an iota of truth to the notion that, to be "lucky" is not sheer luck, but hard work also has a role to play. a lot of apprehensions surfaced for us born in the year of the rat since under the chinese calendar and all the beliefs that are attached to the chinese calendar system, the year 2009, which is the OX' year is going to be an UNLUCKY year for those born under my year.

but, whether we will be lucky or unlucky is entirely up to us. hence, i CHOOSE to be lucky and consequently, i CHOOSE to work hard in order to be lucky.

i will make 2009 (the year of the OX) my year. according to my best friend Sharry, "it's your bar year... time to shine..." since we're best friends, i share her conviction. with my family's unconditional and 101% support, my man's love and faith in me, my friends' confidence (for me) and my Lord's blessing, i know, I WILL BE A LAWYER and my classmates as well.

for the coming year, i wish everyone the same luck and lot that i have chosen.
