righteous indignation

for all that PGMA has to say yesterday, this line probably drove me into this righteous indignation, "FOR FOOTING THE BILL, I THANK THE TAXPAYERS."

i can only wonder at what else the taxpayers and the entire citizenry are footing. tch.

anyhow, the SONA turned out to be another so-called red carpet event for which i could only scream that Art. 25 of the Civil Code be enforced. the said Article provides that, "Thoughtless extravagance in expenses for pleasure or display during a period of acute public want or emergency may be stopped by order of the courts at the insatance of any government or private charitable institutions." hay.. why will the government stop itself and the private charitable institutions have so much in their hands already.

"Lonely Day" by Phantom Planet

I could tell from the minute I woke up

It was going to be a lonely lonely
Lonely lonely day.

Rise and shine rub the sleep out of my eyes

And try to tell myself I can’t
Go back to bed

It’s gonna be a lonely lonely lonely lonely day.

Even though the sun is shining down on me and I should feel about as happy as can be
I just got here and I already want to leave
It’s gonna be a lonely lonely lonely lonely day

Everybody knows that something’s wrong
But nobody knows what’s going on
We all sing the same old song
When you want it all to go away
It’s shaping up to be a lonely day

I could tell from the minute I woke up it was going to be a lonely lonely lonely lonely day.

from what is in the Constitution, i don't think BRAINS is a qualification.

if at all, i think it is a disqualification. why? our most corrupt leaders are some of the brightest minds in the country. Marcos tops the list and GMA's hopes i guess are geared towards replacing Marcos sometime soon.
