four-eyed creature

for almost a year, i have not been wearing my eyeglasses for the simple reason that i have opted to use contact lenses.

years (almost 5) of wearing glasses have taken a toll on my eyes. instead of living true to the name "corrective glasses," my bi-annual visits to the optometrist proved such a term to be untrue because my eyes' grade is continuously increasing.

i have started wearing glasses with only my right eye as impaired, but now both my eyes register a grade of 2.++.

although i have become so comfortable with the contact lenses, i could not help but lust after this very comfortable (i have tried it on already), albeit pricey eyewear by Tag Heuer. haay..

i know i can afford this one day, but for now, i'll stick with the trusty contact lenses.

eventually, i know i will go for that Lasik surgery to correct my vision and free me forever from myopia and the glasses and the contact lenses.

but somehow, some things are not that easy to let go of especially when you have been used to having such things.
