in law school, there is what is known as the official ending of a semester and the actual one. the official ending usually coincides with that of the undergraduates. the actual one, takes place when all of the exams are taken and the grades are given out to students for the said semester.
for the first semester of the academic year 2007-2008, i still have three subjects, the grades to which have not yet been disclosed (the question is, have the teachers been able to make our grades already?). as it is, i still have to spend some sleepless nights wondering what my grades might be. i am anxious to know my grade in a particular subject since my professor is a well-known (his popularity stems from the fact that, every year he does not falter to fail a handful of students). some say that he is the sifter who separates the grain from the chaff.
the waiting is killing me. it's a good thing that the grades which came out earlier were good enough, despite the onslaught of unfortunate events in my life.
hay.. i just want to pass all of my first semester subjects.
i hope the heavens will hear me out.
