an unfortunate event

i think that karma really goes around and then comes around. i am talking about my provisional remedies class being concluded and which would amount to a shorter night of classes for thursdays.
however, just last sunday, our dean was hospitalized and the talks have been he would remain in the hospital to recuperate for two weeks or so. that meant that our evidence class would have to have a substitute until such time that our dean would be back on his feet and finish our course.
what i am referring to as unfortunate is not the fact that for the time being, while a substitute is yet to be found, that there would be no classes. i am referring to the prospective substitutes who will replace dean while he is in the hospital. i think it unfortunate because, it cannot be denied that dean is an amicus curiae when it comes to remedial law and nobody could top him, yet. i do not want to finish the course with another professor. i want dean all the way. but it is just unfortunate that he might not be there all the way.
i think that this is karma. for getting an early end to my provisional remedies course, i get to finish evidence with another teacher. argh! anyway, que sera, sera,sera... and on goes that song.
so, to dean, just concentrate on getting better. that way, you would be out of the hospital much earlier than expected.
